Who is ready for some SEMA Show?

After a year + of COVID, social distancing, masking, and massive amounts of sanitizer, it would be an understatement to say that I am excited about the 2021 SEMA Show.

I can say that I was at the largest gathering of human beings since the pandemic began when I attended the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, The Indianapolis 500 this past May.  Minus the crowds of people on the inside of the track, it seemed totally normal and natural.  My only hope is that same sense of normalcy is still the same in Las Vegas and the biggest event in our industry.

With booth selection behind us, and plans being made for the show, it all seems real!  The excitement level is already high for me and a couple of the Scorpion Team Members who will be working the show and taking in the annual tradition.

Tradition!

Last year during the week that would have been the SEMA show, we all reminisced about years past and the memorable trips we have had.  Probably one of our favorite traditions is Canada Night.  As an American based company, our Canadian partners always hosts us for this first class event at Caesars!  Our friends from north of the border sure do know how to throw a party!  If you leave this event without being full or thirsty, then you did something wrong.

Offering up truck bed liners and protective coatings and window film the automotive market is something that Scorpion has done for over 25 years.  I take a lot of pride in showing our products at the show.

Sights

When the best and most creative minds in one industry converge in one convention center, the sights that you get to see are the absolute best.  Regional car shows are great.  Club shows are fun….But there is nothing in the automotive aftermarket business like the SEMA Show.

When you factor that we have lived through a world wide pandemic, all the ups and downs of COVID, political turmoil, a virtual show….I would say we are ready for the 2021 SEMA Show.  It seems normal to be making plans 5 months in advance.  I for one, can not wait to get to Vegas!
