6 Reasons to Get Window Film

Why Get Tint..Window Film, Car Tint, Limo Tint, or what ever else you want to call it.

Automotive window film goes by many names and there are as many reason to have it installed on your ride!  At Scorpion Window Film, we are team that enjoys vehicles for the freedom they provide.   You can find some unique customizations sitting in our parking lots….cars, trucks, and Jeeps.  One thing they all have in common is window film!  No matter the ride, we all agree in that the film is a necessity that all rides must have.

One might wonder why we can all agree on this topic, well, there are many reason that we find common ground on this topic!

It Looks Good, well that is my opinion.  I think it is also the opinion of millions of others as the Window Film Industry continues explode.  There are trade shows that are dedicated to the art of installing window film.   Tint shops continue to pop up and offer a good means for an installer to earn a living.

Increased Security- Windows go through numerous shatter tests.  For those that have been involved in a high speed accident, the accident is bad enough and sure do not want to increase the hazards you are facing in those moments with small pieces of shattered glass flying through the air.  Window film is not a 100% guarantee, but testing has shown that it will help!

UV Rejection- the UV rays from the Sun make us feel warm and cozy are also the same rays that can be harmful over time.  The glass alone does not block these harmful rays.  A layer of protection in the form of window film is the simple solution.

Privacy-When you are in the confines of your own home, you expect to have your own privacy right?  Why should your vehicle be any different?  Not that any of us are doing the same things in our car that we do in our home, but if you leave your purse or other value in the front seat, it sure would be nice to know that wandering eyes can’t see them.

Reduce Glare- the glare from the Sun can make for dangerous traveling conditions.   Especially on the early morning commute, the Sun is at lower angels that can be blinding.  I absolutely love the Sun Strip that I have on my vehicle.  I do not recommend the entire windshield be tinted, I have written about this before.  But, I do strongly recommend a Sun Strip.

Car Interior- Have you have gotten into someone vehicle and noticed cracks in the dashboard or maybe the console?  Many times, the Sun is at fault.  Years and years of the rays beating down have broke down these structures and cause cracks.  Maybe what was once a beautiful shade of red now looks pink.  THE SUN ALWAYS WINS!  But, Scorpion Window Film can drastically slow down this process.

There you have it, my reason for film!  It is not one reason for me.  All these reason combine to make window film a justifiable expense.  I have it applied on my and my wife’s vehicles.  Justified because of the benefits.
