Window Film Darkness

Dark Window Film

Limousines have dark window film giving their occupants privacy.  Hiding behind these dark windows is a luxury provided by the window film that has been installed on the glass panels of the doors.  The celebrity and wealthy pay big dollars to have this privacy.  The ride, the package, and the image it creates is part of the celebrity mantra.  Many time this has to do with privacy.  But, depending on the passenger, it may be much more of a security function.  Dignitaries and VIP’s need the privacy and dark window film is a great way to provide it.

Why do we care?

Some people greatly appreciate the privacy.  Many of those are celebrities who hope to avoid the barrage of media and paparazzi that will chase them for a picture or private moment.  Unfortunately… or fortunately for some of us, we don’t know what the daily hassle of dealing with this drama is like. Nonetheless, the dark window tint allows them a feeling of anonymity because they can’t be seen.

For the rest of us, (The Real World)

Why would those of us in the real world want or be concerned with having dark window film installed on their personal rides?  I would say that privacy is a reason, the main reason would be image.

We tend to be very aware of our image, I strongly believe this begins in the teenage years when the drivers license arrives and we start caring for a vehicle.  A little wash, a little wax, and basically shine up our ride. A clean car always looks good in the shining sun. As young people on a budget look for ways to spice up their ride, they have to find things that make an impact and that are cost effective.  If the upgrade does not make an impact, then it is not worth the time and money, and for clarification…. ( I am thinking in terms of when I received my license in 1992 and did not have anything that I didn’t earn).

My 7 tone Chevy Camaro that was rusted and missing its nose piece wasn’t much to look at.  BUT, I had an amazing set of Goodyear Eagle ST tires and a Pioneer radio that could blast some Motley Crue throughout the neighborhood.   The outside of the car would be a work in progress that I knew I had to have patience, but the inside was a different story. The inside was decked out and looked great.  If I had known about window film in 1992, you can bet that it would have been installed….and it would have been DARK!

Dark window film makes such a dramatic effect on an automobile.  It is very noticeable and it stands out. The end result is very much an eye catching look.  AND, it is affordable, even for the broke teenage.

The thing I want you to remember is that dark window film makes a huge impact on the look of a vehicle.  When making upgrades on a budget, consider window film as it offers a huge immediate impact on the look of the.   Simple, easy, and quick. With window film installation, you can be back in your car in just an hour or 2.
