Scorpion Protective Coatings is about trucks and cars.  We love trucks! We love to make cars look better. Our passion for cars and trucks has continued since our beginnings in 1996 as a bed liner installer of our own formulation, to the world wide headquarters for Scorpion Coatings.  Along the way we expanded to add Window Film and Ceramic Coating as other automotive accessories. Durability

Scorpion Truck Bed Liners are tough!  Its durability has been on display for 25 years.  Not only is it used as a truck bed liner, but many other industries have found a use for a premium protection product.  

 

Increase Safety

Safety can be measured in various ways.  Window film provides safety in several ways.  It is a UV barrier from our personal comfort and the harmful UV rays from the Sun.  Another way it provides safety is during high speed impact. Unprotected glass will shatter into thousands of pieces.  With film installed, this risk should be mitigated by holding the tiny pieces in place.  

 

 

Other Options

Of course we promote bed liner and window film as a top choice for automotive upgrades, but there are other upgrades that are great to consider.   Some are pure ascetic and others improve performance or efficiency.  To the car guy or gal, it may be a matter of all the options and more.  For the full car enthusiast, it is hard to achieve perfection or the exact look they want.

 

 

Wheels

Wheels are probably one of the most popular aftermarket items for both cars and trucks.  They can drastically change the look of a vehicle.   There are countless options for wheels on the internet. Patterns, colors, materials anything you could want in a wheel exists. It’s all about going out there and finding them. The perfect wheel takes time to discover.

 

Decals

Decals are pretty cool but over the years people have been using them a bit less. It was much more popular during the 90s and early 2000s but has worn off a bit. Still, it is an addition that can enhance the appearance of your car.  But Paul Walkers Fast and Furious car sure did look killer with decals!   

Spoilers

A spoiler isn’t for all vehicles, some just look better without it. However, if you manage to select the right wing for the rear of your vehicle, you’ll see some eyes start to dart towards the appearance of your car.  I personally am not a spoiler guy.  I wouldn’t be caught dead with a spoiler, but that is just me.  It can be difficult to get the aerodynamics dialed in just right, but if your car is for show, who cares!

Who doesn’t love new seat covers?  They are a simple and inexpensive way to freshen up the interior look of your ride.

There are all sorts of ways you can customize your lights. From the color of the lights to the style such as the halos and demon eyes. For those looking for something a bit more intense, you could try smoking your lights or using a colored film.

Carbon Body Parts

Swapping out heavy-metal body panels for lightweight carbon fiber is another great way to upgrade your ride. The less excess weight you’re packing around, the quicker you’ll be around the track, and in some cases, adding extra venting (like in the case of the carbon fiber hood seen here) can even help improve the overall efficiency of your cooling system.
